Festival Mission

Founders Festival Steering Committee

The Founders Festival is guided by a dedicated volunteer Steering Committee committed to celebrating Farmington’s community spirit and honoring its traditions.

A formal mission statement will be developed by the committee once seated. At its core, the Founders Festival exists to honor the community’s original summer festival — a tradition rooted in bringing neighbors together, celebrating local history, and creating shared experiences in the heart of downtown Farmington.

What Makes the Founders Festival Unique

The Founders Festival is uniquely set in Farmington’s vibrant downtown, surrounded by locally owned shops, restaurants, and gathering places that are part of the festival experience itself.

The event is intentionally designed around family fun, community connection, and exploration. Guests are encouraged to stroll downtown, enjoy live entertainment, discover local businesses, and experience everything that makes Farmington a welcoming and connected community.

More than just an event, the Founders Festival is a celebration of place — where residents, visitors, families, and friends come together to enjoy summer in downtown Farmington.
